Salad built its network on user trust. Individuals using the Salad desktop client voluntarily share IP addresses and bandwidth to support our partner workloads. We invite only trustworthy, pre-qualified nodes in good standing to supply bandwidth.
Salad nodes consist almost entirely of shared residential IP addresses. Our proprietary toolkit allows us to assess lifetime performance and filter target cohorts by connection speed, latency, region, and more.
Because Salad continuously monitors speed and connection quality for all network nodes, our team can exclude IPs that do not meet predetermined requirements. SaladCloud's VPN partners can also request rapid IP rotation on demand.
